Diffusion

In this unit you will be experimenting with diffusion of light and focus. This is one of the original practical effects used by photographers and filmmakers to create poetic and dreamlike imagery. The key steps are to explore and try lots of subjects and perspectives because the results are often unexpected (that's why it's an experiment). Here are a few of my examples just looking at trees around the block. You can use many different subjects, of course, including characters.
