Motion Blur Abstracts

Motion Blur Abstracts

Goals: see the poetic potential of images, the power of creative play, use the creative process to build a body of work.

Style: using photography to explore the aesthetics of abstract expressionism and designing with shapes and color.

Techniques: make photographic exposures while the camera is in motion. then use aesthetic choice in editing to further abstract the elements. color can be achieved with color replacement tools and by (simply) using the Warhol effect tool and choosing your own colors.

Experimental Photography

How can photographic images, textures, text, objects, graphics, world balloons etc come together in the collage and design process to create expressive pieces? How do forms like Tarot Cards, Comics, Game Boards, and Collages communicate? Look through these examples and see what ideas spring up for you. How can you use various elements together in order to express your own perspective, observations, stories, concerns, or identity? These are just examples to help inspire. Your work will follow your own aesthetic choices and ideas.
